We spent Christmas this year in Andalusia with all the grandparents and family. Bob and I greatly appreciated the grandparents because that gave us a few moments to ourselves. Asher was introduced to many of our friends while at home. One night at Miss Ginny's house he got to visit with all the other kids. Asher is too little to visit long, but he is looking forward to many more visits with his friends. The picture shows them posing for the camera while taking a break from telling each other stories of their childhood! From left to right is Asher Bentley, Grover Wells, William Grimes, Caroline Reeves, Bennett Hunt, Sawyer Hardy, and John Parker Hardy.

Update on Asher...
So, we went for our 2 week check-up yesterday and Asher now weighs in at 7# 15 oz. and is 21 inches long. I think that he had no room to grow in his mommy so now he's making up for it. Asher said to tell everyone Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I guess you didn't know he's already talking too!

Edward Asher Bentley Arrives
Asher finally made his arrival on December 3 at 3:13 pm. He was a little fellow weighing in at only 6 lbs 14 oz. and 20 inches long. He's only been here a week, but he already has his mom and dad wrapped around his tiny fingers. We went for his one week check-up today and he is growing like a weed. Today he weighs in at 7 lbs 5 oz. and is 20 1/4 inches long.

The Nursery
Happy Thanksgiving!
It's Thanksgiving day and still no baby. My due date is today, but it's become apparent that we are going to have to wait until Baby Bentley is ready to make his appearance. I bought a Thanksgiving outfit for the little one but it will never be worn now. It says...."I'm thankful for Mommy and Daddy". Too cute! My doctor tells me that rain or shine he will definitely induce me by December 3rd so the Bentley family will now all have December birthdays!

Awaiting Baby Bentley
Bob and I are anxiously awaiting the arrival of Baby Bentley. We've known for quite some time now that we are having a precious little boy. Hopefully we have everything we need for his big homecoming. The baby's due date is November 27th, but the doctor has planned an induction for November 20th. We are counting down the days!
