We Haven't Been Up To Much

Well, Asher is now over 10 months old and I still can't believe how fast he's growing up. He changes everyday right in front of our eyes. He can already stand up and sit down on his own, and he will probably soon start walking. I've seen him take one step, and Bob said that today he took about 5 steps. Wow! That's crazy that he may start walking. The ladies at daycare say he's taken a few steps there too. He's the youngest in his class so I guess that if he wants to keep up with the rest of the pack he'll have to start walking. His other new favorite activity is clapping his hands. Bob and I make it a point to clap and say "Yeah Asher!" whenever he does something new. He's catching on so he claps for himself pretty regularly. It's really funny. He has also learned to identify ceiling fans so he likes to point them out where ever we go. It must be a fascination with watching them go round and round. On our new list of favorite foods is Cheez-Its, Goldfish, and Nilla Wafers. I realize that does not sound too nutritious, but the boy likes to eat! What can I say? Also, Asher can now say "Bye, Bye" as well as wave. When we are leaving for daycare in the morning he likes to tell the house bye-bye. I realize I've put about 50 thoughts into this one paragraph, but parenthood seems to cluster your thoughts because you don't have time to sort them out. So, with that being said, here's a few pics of Asher.

He is so beautiful, Christian! It's fun to watch them change and grow and recognize things. (I kind of know from watching Jack Benjamin.) I am excited to become a mom myself. Hope all is well with you guys.
